EXPERTISE

Electronic patient records are transforming the way patients access care in acute hospitals up and down the country.  The missing link is getting patients themselves to embrace the convenience and efficiencies offered by the technology.  Our brief from the Royal Devon was to drive up adoption of MY CARE – the app which connects patients with their digital records.

Research insight and workshops allowed us to build relationships with a very wide range of NHS stakeholders and to co-create a powerful Big Idea – “Life made simpler”.  Having designed a stand-out campaign identity, we then harnessed the hospital environment as our media platform, deploying films, digital screensavers, posters, banners, a designed kiosk, lift decals, social media assets, leaflets, letters and vinyl stickers. A hundred thousand new users signed up for the app during the first six months of the campaign.
